Slimline

This stove answers a lot of customers’ problems – they need a very wide unit that is not very deep. The external body is very wide (624mm) but the depth of the stove is a shallow (318mm). The Panoramic 9 also has a twin layer construction – the inner layer has been tapered in at the sides, making the fire box slightly smaller and therefore reducing the potential heat output. The widest point of the firebox is still 500mm wide, meaning large logs are not a problem for this stove!

About

This advanced wood burning stove has been designed by our sister company Ecosy+ of Hampshire and incorporates all the best bits from their current model range. Having sold tens of thousands of stoves, Ecosy+ has utilised all they have learned to created a reliable, stylish and efficient stove. This stove is finished in dark grey heat-resistant paint, for the black version click here.

Features on this stove far exceed models that cost north of £1000. Its huge heat-resistant ceramic glass front gives an uninterrupted view of the fire which is on the tick list of almost every stove buyer. The hidden gem of this stove is its internal shell – effectively another stove inside the stove, where air is drawn in from the stove’s rear, fed between two layers of steel and precisely dispersed over the fire through a series of holes inside the chamber. Having the air introduced high up in the chamber is an effective way of re-burning the initial smoke and pollutants created by the fire. The air that is not dispersed through these holes speeds up as it rises over the fire and is released like a curtain of air over the glass, helping it to keep clean and clear of smoke stains.

The Panoramic 9 is a wood burning only stove, therefore does not require a multi-fuel grate or ash pan, as wood loves to burn on the base. The stove is however lined with thick 30mm vermiculite boards that protect the stoves shell and its internal steel baffle is removable for sweeping. Underneath is a discrete lever that gives an incredibly accurate degree of control over the fire with a simple push to left or right. The Panoramic has a beautifully shaped cast iron door that frames the fire within. This one of the best looking stoves that we sell and looks amazing lit! This model includes the very popular, cool to touch wooden handle, but we do also offer a range of other options that can be selected. As with all parts of the Panoramic, they are well-designed and engineered but not over-complicated. Too often stoves have over-complicated systems that do not stand the test of time and can be incredibly expensive and complicated to fix. We are so confident of the stoves quality, we offer a 5 year warranty.

Heat Output Range

The Panoramic 9, has a 7kw nominal output. However, it benefits from a 5kw to 10kw range, meaning this stove can be suitable for a large number of spaces from medium to the rather large. (Output range numbers are round up)

5 Year Guarantee

(This covers the stove’s body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks). Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. 6 digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For a stove to be covered it must be installed by a HETAS engineer or signed off by building control.

Overnight Burn

The Ecosy+ Panoramic has an excellent overnight burn system. It’s airtight door gaskets and manually-controlled air flow controls allow you to close the stove right down overnight and wake up to a warm house in the morning. All you will need to do is reopen the air controls, add a little wood and watch the fire roar again. Please note that an overnight burn can take time to master and relies heavily on the fuel being burnt. Please also note that you can only achieve this if you are able to remove the Defra stop!

Stove Construction

The Panoramic is a “hybrid” stove and its body is constructed from quality Q235B carbon steel, that has been chosen for its plasticity, toughness and weldability. The door is made from very thick mineral cast iron that helps retain the heat and slowly release it into the room. Having a cast iron door also enables us to add features like the shallow curves on the top and bottom. The internal lining is vermiculite and the grate is constructed from heavy-duty cast iron and includes an ash pan. – The stove weighs over 100kg

Why Are We So Cheap?

This is a common question we get asked and understand why people will sometimes wonder how it can be done so cheap. We are one of, if not the only stove company in the UK that either designs (through our brands) or buy direct from the factory every single product. This way we can offer the best possible price direct to you. Owning the whole process from start to finish also has a forgotten advantage and if you ever have an issue with the product you are speaking to the people who make it and sorting it out is often very easy and quick. I am sure we have all been in the position where you are passed between retailer and manufacturer to try and get an issue resolved. We always suggest prospective buyers take a look at our glowing feedback that currently has over 7000 positive comments on our stoves and stove related products.
