Enamel Finish
This particular model looks fantastic in its enamel finish, accentuating its features and offering the customer a truly unique stove which will add a burst of colour to their home. In addition to that, enamel units are also extremely easy to clean and do not gather the dust like the standard black models. However, enamel stoves do come with some traits that we like to make customers aware of before purchasing.

Enamel stoves are prone to chipping, and the stove will most likely arrive with a few small chips already on it. This is extremely hard to avoid, as the stove’s body consists of cast iron panels that are bolted together by hand. We factor this into the pricing and price them with this in mind.
This model in particular has a door which is a slightly different shade to the rest of the body. This is shown in the main image and looks different in each light setting. Inside a fireplace it will be hard to see. Again, the stove has been priced with this in mind.
About the stove and how it works
Ecosy+ stoves is one of the largest UK stove manufacturers and has sold tens of thousands of stoves direct to the public and trade over its 10+ year history. This particular model is a reliable, stylish and efficient fully cast iron stove that will look stunning in any room, complementing either modern or traditional decor. The thick cast iron not only gives the stove a robust look and feel, but will also contribute to the longevity of the product. At over 80kg, the Rock Midi 5kw is much heftier than competing compact stoves, which commonly weigh around 55 to 65kg. And there’s good reason: the thicker cast iron allows the stove to continue to pump heat out long after the flames have died down – a key advantage of a cast iron unit.

Gaining DEFRA and Ecodesign approval has been achieved by its simple yet effective tertiary burn and baffle design. The tertiary burn system re-burns the initial smoke produced by the fire. The twin baffle helps to keep heat in the chamber and also creates a tumbling effect which recirculates the smoke back into the stove. The two components work together, helping to reduce emissions and increase efficiency.

The Rock is a Multi-Fuel unit that enables the customer to burn both wood and smokeless coal efficiently. All Multi-Fuel units will come with a grate, ash pan and tool. If you are just burning wood, you can allow the ash to simply build up on the grate.

All parts and fittings on this stove are simple yet solid and easy to replace if you ever needed to.

5 Year Guarantee
This covers the stove’s body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks. The enamel is not covered under the guarantee. The guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. 6-digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For stove to be covered, it must be installed by a HETAS / OFTEC engineer or signed off by building control.

DEFRA Approved
This Rock Midi has been rigorously tested and approved to burn wood in smoke controlled zones. DEFRA approved stoves with 5″ flue outlets, like this one, can also be installed with a 5″ liner. The DEFRA approval has been achieved by factory fitting a mechanical stop to prevent full secondary air closure. If you are not in a smoke-free zone and have not installed a 5″ liner, this can be removed.
Why Are We So Cheap?
This is a common question we get asked, and we understand why people wonder how it can be done at such a good price. We are unique in the way we operate and occupy the whole supply chain through the brands we own, including Ecosy+ stoves of Hampshire. Instead of only selling to the trade, we primarily offer trade prices direct to the end user; this completely cuts out any middle men and gives the end user a very good price that is backed up with fantastic service. We can stock over 5,000 stoves at any one time and ship direct to the consumer with no showrooms. We always suggest prospective buyers take a look at our glowing feedback that currently has over 7,000 positive comments on our stoves and stove products.
Internal stove dimensions:

Typical log approx 350mm long
Glass Dimensions: 350mm Wide x 270mm High
Option: 1000mm length of matching Blue enamel flue – Please note that these flues do not slot inside each other, so multiple lengths cannot be purchased and pushed together to make a 2000mm length, for example.
Option: Ceramic glass is not covered under the guarantee for any stove on the market. Ceramic glass is fully heat-resistant but will break if struck with a log, or similarly hard object. This glass is expensive, but for a small fee we are offering to guarantee it for a full year. This covers any accidental chips or cracks, and photographic evidence will be required. This covers one claim only, not multiple breakages.
