2022 Eco Design Ready

Designed and manufactured by Ecosy+ Stoves, with testing for this unit carried out at the UK test lab Kiwa. Rest assured, the figures quoted below are backed up by an accredited test facility. Something that cannot be said for all stoves on the market. Ecosy+ itself is a long-standing member of the SIA (Stove Industry Alliance) which is the respected organisation heading up the Eco Design scheme which will come into force in 2022. About the stove and how it works

Having sold tens of thousands of stoves, Ecosy+ has utilised all they have learned to create a reliable, stylish and efficient fully cast iron stove that does not break the bank. This particular unit has been specifically designed for someone on a budget who is after a compact stove for a small space.

The stove itself is made from thick mineral cast iron which has a lovely smooth finish and perfectly rounded edges. The great advantage of having a fully cast iron unit is their ability to retain heat. This stove will continue to stay warm long after the fire has died down.

Gaining Defra and Eco Design approval has been achieved by its simple yet effective tertiary burn and baffle design. The tertiary burn system re-burns the initial smoke produced by the fire. The twin baffle helps to keep heat in the chamber and also creates a tumbling effect which recirculates the smoke back into the stove. The two components work together, helping to reduce emissions and increase efficiency.

The Beacon is a wood only stove, but unlike many wood only stoves it does come with a handy grate and ash pan – something that many customers like to have, despite it not being required on a wood only stove. Having the grate inside also allows for a primary air control on the door, which can make lighting the stove easier.

All parts and fittings on this stove are simple yet solid, whilst also being cheap and easy to replace if you ever needed to. Parts for some models can be very hard to get, extremely expensive and hard to fit.

3 Year Guarantee

This covers the stove’s body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks. Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. 6 digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For stove to be covered it must be installed by a HETAS / OFTEC engineer or signed off by building control.

DEFRA Approved

This Beacon 4 has been rigorously tested and approved to burn wood in smoke controlled zones. Defra approved stoves with 5″ flue outlets, like this one, can also be installed with a 5″ liner. The Defra approval has been achieved by factory fitting a mechanical stop to prevent full secondary air closure.

Why Are We So Cheap?

This is a common question we get asked and we understand why people wonder how it can be done at such a good price. We are unique in the way we operate and occupy the whole supply chain through the brands we own, including Ecosy+ stoves of Hampshire. Instead of only selling to the trade, we primarily offer trade prices direct to the end user; this completely cuts out any middle men and gives the end user a very good price that is backed up with fantastic service. We can stock over 5000 stoves at any one time and ship direct to the consumer with no showrooms. We always suggest prospective buyers take a look at our glowing feedback that currently has over 7000 positive comments on our stoves and stove products.
