Eco Design Approved

This fantastic Newburn range has been designed by our manufacturing partner Ecosy+ stoves of Hampshire before being sent off to the renowned Kiwa Gastec to be rigorously tested. These tests showed that all Newburn models exceed the very tough SIA Eco Design Approved regulations. In addition to this, they have also been approved for use in smoke-free zones (Defra Approved). Exceeding the Ecodesign testing is a true mark of a quality stove; inferior products that are not as well engineered will often fail these tests. The Ecosy+ stove brand, along with the other key UK stove brands, is a member of the SIA and submits documentation which verify the technical claims displayed as legitimate. Want to find out more? About the stove

This classical looking and compact unit will suit a huge range of UK homes and fireplace designs. Having the ability to pair different handles and fittings provides the customer with a truly unique stove that perfectly fits their own taste and decor.

This well engineered stove has an impressive secondary/tertiary burn and twin baffle design. The two air flow systems work in tandem to recycle the initial smoke produced by the fire allowing it to be re-burnt before it is expelled from the stove. The stoves high efficiency (over 83%) and low particulate output demonstrate this system is highly effective. The stove is of a compact design yet boasts a large heat resistant, ceramic SCHOTT glass front that gives an uninterrupted view of the fire which is on the wishlist of almost every stove buyer. The stoves high speed, pre-heated air-wash system ensures that warm air is re-directed across the glass, helping to keep it free of smoke stains.

Construction

The Newburn range of stoves are steel-bodied units with thick cast iron doors; the preferred construction method of modern day stoves. The Idyllic has a thick, 10mm top and fully seam-welded body. Its thick top helps radiate heat long after the fire has extinguished. Each stove has a fully vermiculite lined inner shell which helps to protect the stoves body, increasing it’s lifespan. The fuel itself burns on a mineral cast iron grate that includes a riddle arm and fully folded ash pan with tool. All Newburn stoves have top and rear flue outlets and adjustable feet for leveling out uneven surfaces.

5 Year Guarantee

This covers the stove’s body and not the internal perishable parts like grates and fire bricks. Guarantee is activated when the stove is invoiced. The 6 digit number on the top of each invoice is the warranty number. For the stove to be covered, it must be installed by a HETAS / OFTEC engineer or signed off by building control.

DEFRA Approved

This version of the Newburn has been rigorously tested and approved to burn wood in smoke controlled zones. Defra approved stoves with 5″ flue outlets, like this one, can also be installed with a 5″ liner. The Defra approval has been achieved by factory fitting a mechanical stop to prevent secondary air closure. This can be removed prior to install if you do not require or want a Defra approved stove.

Options

1. Direct air feed box – This box bolts to the stove’s air inlet and makes it a room sealed stove, perfect for new builds. A direct air feed pipe can connect to this box and draw in in directly from the outside. The spigot on the box is 80mm – ( Pipe itself not included but linked here – https://www.stoveworlduk.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=714&search=direct+air )

2. The stove comes as standard with a black “cool touch” handle and chrome fittings. We also offer a chrome handle with chrome fittings or a black handle with brass fittings .

3. Ceramic glass is not covered under the guarantee for any stove on the market. Ceramic glass is fully heat resistant but will break if struck with a log, or similarly hard object. This glass is expensive, but for a small fee we are offering to guarantee it for a full year. This covers any accidental chips or cracks and photographic evidence will be required. This covers one claim only, not multiple breakages.

Why Are We So Cheap?

This is a common question we get asked and we understand why people wonder how it can be done at such a good price. We are very unique in the way we operate, as we occupy the whole supply chain through the brands we own. Instead of only selling to brands to trade, we primarily choose to sell direct to the end user at a trade price. This completely cuts out any middle men and gives the end consumer direct contact with the people who build the stoves. We can stock over 7000 stoves at any one time and ship direct to the end user with no showrooms. We always suggest prospective buyers take a look at our glowing feedback that currently has over 7000 positive comments on our stoves and stove related products.
