From surveys and quotations through to the installation of your product and managing sign-off, our stove installers are part of a wider team that manages all phases of the project on your behalf.
You can purchase multi-fuel stoves and wood-burning stoves direct from our company, or we can fit appliances you have sourced elsewhere.
Hal and his friendly, reliable team are always here to help and assist you.
Swept Away Installations only uses accredited HETAS engineers to undertake multi-fuel and wood-burning stove installations, so you’ll never need to talk to your local authority about signing off the job. Instead, we have the power to self-certificate our own work stating full compliancy with current UK Building Regulations which all major insurance companies will happily accept.
Much like stove showrooms, our company specialises in multi-fuel and wood-burning stove supplies, and we also supply flue liners, twin-walled insulated systems, cowls and inserts for open fires as part of a full package service. The only difference with our service is that we work on a regional mobile basis.
For your further reassurance, Swept Away Installations carries the appropriate levels of employer liability, public liability and installer all-risk insurance.
Don’t forget that Hal and his team offer the services of a chimney sweep too!
Following a multi-fuel or wood-burning stove installation, we like to keep our promises to you by offering an understanding aftersales service. While some stove installers finish their relationship with you upon signing off a job, our company much prefers to build on what we have started. If you have any problems, or if you have questions to ask about multi-fuel stoves or wood-burning stoves, pick up the phone and we’ll always be there to assist you.
Our HETAS engineers can come out to service, maintain and repair stoves to keep them running safely, and a sweep can take care of cleaning the flue and the chimney so that all you ever need to do is sit back and relax.
Hal and his team have an attractive range of stoves for you to consider, all of which have been manufactured by the trade’s best-known suppliers and, where applicable, have the required DEFRA approvals. Importantly, we believe that a mobile service, as an alternative to using a stove showroom, is a better and more flexible choice. We come to your home to discuss our products and never put you in the position where you feel forced to buy.
Swept Away Installations leaves the hard sell to other suppliers and installers.
Our customer-focused approach has made us the leading local choice for multi-fuel stoves and wood-burning stoves, and we draw in custom from all surrounding areas to include Battle, Bexhill-on-Sea, Brighton, Eastbourne, Hailsham, Hastings, Hove, Lewes, Newhaven, Ringmer, Saltdean, Seaford, St Leonards-on-Sea and Uckfield, and all locations in East and West Sussex.

Hal, Charlie and Nat opened up an existing sealed fireplace, instslled a new stove and chimney liner. Excellent installation, professionally done. All the team were friendly, courteous and informative. The work was performed quickly and everything left clean. The plasterer recommended, Wade, also performed to the same high standard. Very happy, would highly recommend Hal and his team. Thanks.
We have been using our stove now for two months and are so delighted with it that we wish we had it installed years ago. Our original hesitation had been caused by not wanting to lose the Victorian tiles of our fireplace in order to make space for a small multi-fuel stove. Hal suggested that he cut away the central part of the fireplace leaving the original cast iron surround. This was a job for a truly skilled installer and we were not disappointed; Hal made a very neat job of the hearth. Although we have lost the tiles the fireplace with stove looks superb. Well done Hal and his team.
Hal and his team were incredibly efficient, friendly and professional in their approach. It was a joy to watch them carry out the installation with camaraderie, care and commitment to excellence. I would not hesitate to recommend Swept Away Installations. Thank you :)
